Live cameras are everywhere. Some have audio capabilities, so be careful what you do and say in public when shopping, sweating at the gym, sunbathing on a beach — having a haircut, or even in and around your property. You're probably being viewed by viewers online.

The keywords I used to find my home were Earl's Court. Live Traffic camera. For me, It was as simple as that. This link is the the actual cam feed of my previous home. I lived above the 'Earl's Court Tavern' on the left. There are many other camera angles in the same area, allowing me to keep an eye on my home, the people (neighbours), and the high street, both when I am home and away. And if I hear emergency sirens, I can check what's happening via the internet.

I am constantly looking for new and closer camera feeds of places where I live and of people I like and dislike. Currently, the nearest feed available where I reside is a traffic camera located about forty feet away. That will do. If my road had been straight rather than curved, my property would have been visible to the CCTV traffic camera — not ideal for those who value their privacy, including criminals and straying partners.

Type the words of your choice using a combination of the following keywords, such as the name of your street, road, town, or city. Or the closest areas to where you live, including; Motorways. Streaming Live. Webcam locations. Live Camera. Live Cams. Live IP video cameras. IP cameras. Traffic cams.

Use any keywords of the places in your area that overlooks or is near your home, including; Beaches. Bridges. Motorways. Farms. Airports. Shops. Education centres. Harbours. Ports. Train stations. Bars. Churches. Restaurants. Lakes. Farms. Fields. Mountains. All the above (and more) are being live-streamed.

If at First You Don’t Succeed, Try, Try Again.

One of the most famous cams is the famous Abbey Road Live Crossing Cam that overlooks many homes, and is a fun cam to watch Beatles fans snapping photos on the zebra crossing in tribute to the original image.

Someone in your street might have a security camera – it could be a 'Ring' doorbell, CCTV, or a hidden (spy/peephole) camera – set up to monitor their property, work area, garden, or garage. However, these cameras can inadvertently capture views of neighbouring homes. Many of these cameras livestream their footage. View tourist attractions, iconic buildings, and any wild animal, pet, or insect you can think of — without leaving your home with the millions of live-streaming camera feeds available online.

Search the 'YouTube's live' option from their menu and see what locations or businesses are streaming live. Sadly, YouTube does not have a site map, menu, or index that lists the hundreds of thousands of YouTubers streaming live. Online webcam directories are good places to search for anything you desire to view, such as 'earthcam’, 'webcamtaxi', and ‘worldcam.

If you can see any 'well-known iconic tall buildings' from your home, the chances are that one of their cameras could be pointing towards your home. (As shown in the example thumbnail images below).

It's worth noting that there may be more than one feed available for a specific location, so don't settle for the first result. Also, given the varying time zones across different countries and what time you view cams from around the world, some camera views will have night-time views, offering a unique opportunity to witness city centres and iconic structures transformed by breath-taking light displays.

Depending on your operating system or browser, you may need to install plug-ins or specific media players to view some online cams. For best streaming results, a decent broadband connection and PC specifications help. Even with the best PC specifications, some cams don't stream as fast as others.
